Sprout Creek Farm is a multi-faceted endeavor - it is a working farm, a market, and an educational center. Sprout Creek was founded by nuns Georgie Blaeser and Margo Morris in the late 1980s as a place for children to connect with nature, learn about agriculture, and instill in them a sense of responsibility and love for the Earth. After more than 30 years of agri-education, Sprout Creek Farm has also come to be one of the premier creameries in the country. Colin McGrath, a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of the Arts, is the talented cheesemaker behind Sprout Creek’s award-winning cheeses. In addition to making cheese from the farm's supply of cow and goats' milk, Sprout Creek's farm market sells vegetables, meat, eggs, and yarn - all sourced from their land.
